Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
1. Who we are
Sellsight AI ("Sellsight", "we", "us") is a software service for print-on-demand sellers on Etsy. It is operated by SellSight AI, Murcia, Spain, who is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected].
2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website (sellsightai.com), our web application, our browser extension and our integrations with Etsy, Printify and Pinterest, why we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
3. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), time zone, country and plan.
- Data from services you connect:
- Etsy (only after you authorize it): your shop details, listings, listing statistics, reviews and orders. Orders include the information needed to fulfil them, such as the buyer's name, shipping address and personalization details.
- Printify (only after you provide an access token): your store, products, print providers, costs and the orders we create on your behalf.
- Pinterest: we read aggregated trend data (trending search keywords and their growth) using our own authorized account. We do not currently access the Pinterest account of our users.
- Public marketplace data: public information about Etsy listings and shops obtained through the Etsy API, which we use to calculate market metrics.
- Browser extension data (only if you install it): on Etsy pages you visit, the extension reads listing identifiers and public labels such as "Bestseller" or "Popular now", and the search term you used on Etsy. It does not read pages on other websites, your Etsy password or your payment details.
- Content you create: design ideas, images, mockups, listing texts, offers and settings.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, and logs of how the service is used, kept for security and to fix problems.
4. How we use data
- To provide the service: research, design, listing creation, order processing and shop analytics (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors (legitimate interests).
- To improve our estimates and features using aggregated, de-identified data (legitimate interests; see section 5).
- To send you service emails, such as account verification, alerts and summaries you have enabled (performance of a contract).
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. Aggregated and de-identified data
We combine market measurements and performance metrics across users to build aggregated statistics, for example how competitive a niche is or how accurate our sales estimates are. These statistics do not identify you, your shop or your buyers. Buyer information from your orders is never used for this purpose.
6. Artificial intelligence
Some features send content, such as listing texts, images or order personalization details, to AI providers to generate or review text and images. These providers process the data on our behalf to deliver the result. You should always review AI-generated content before publishing it.
7. Who we share data with
- Service providers that operate parts of our service under contract: hosting (Oracle Cloud), network and security (Cloudflare), AI processing (OpenAI), email delivery and, when paid plans launch, payment processing. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are never stored by us.
- Printify, only the order details needed to produce and ship an order you create or approve.
- Etsy, the data needed to create or update listings and to send tracking information for your orders, as you instruct.
- Authorities, when required by law.
- A successor, if the service is transferred as part of a business transaction, under the same protections.
8. Buyer data from your orders
When you connect your Etsy shop and use order features, we process your buyers' order information only to fulfil those orders for you and to show them in your account. We keep it only for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle returns or claims and meet legal obligations.
9. How long we keep data
- Account data and content: while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete it, except where we must keep it by law. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
- Data obtained from Etsy: kept and refreshed in line with the Etsy API Terms of Use. We keep our own derived measurements, such as daily metrics, which do not contain Etsy content.
- Technical logs: for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
10. Your rights and choices
- You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict certain uses, by writing to [email protected].
- You can disconnect Etsy, Printify or Pinterest at any time from your account settings or from those services. We then stop accessing them.
- European Economic Area and United Kingdom: you may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
- California and other US states: you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete and correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. International transfers
Our servers are located in the United States. When personal data from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom is transferred there, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
12. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit, encrypted storage of access tokens, restricted administrative access and regular backups. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where required by law.
13. Cookies
We use only the cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We do not use advertising cookies.
14. Children
Sellsight AI is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
15. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify registered users before the changes apply.
16. Contact
